Templates

Overview

Templates in MiniCRM help you speed up communication and maintain consistent messaging. You can create standardized email, SMS, letter, or task templates, which can then be used manually or automatically in campaigns, client communications, or workflows.

Accessing Templates

To manage templates:

  • Go to Settings
  • Select the Templates menu
  • Choose the module (e.g., Sales, Support) where you want to create or manage templates

Types of Templates

  • Email Templates: Prewritten messages with formatting, useful for sales follow-up, notifications, or onboarding.
  • SMS Templates: Short text formats used for quick reminders or alerts.
  • Task Templates: Tasks with preset title, description, and deadline used in automation.
  • Letter Templates: For printed physical letters (if needed).

Creating a Template

  1. Click on “+ New Template”
  2. Choose the channel (Email, SMS, etc.)
  3. Enter a title for internal identification
  4. Fill in the subject (for emails) and message body
  5. Use placeholders (e.g., {{Client.Name}}) to personalize each message dynamically

Using Placeholders

Placeholders automatically insert personal or company information from the card.

Examples:

  • {{Client.Name}} inserts the client’s name
  • {{Card.Owner}} inserts the responsible user’s name

This helps automate personalization within each message or task.

Editing & Deleting Templates

  • All templates can be edited later by clicking on their name
  • You can update content, title, and placeholders at any time
  • Templates can also be deleted if no longer needed

Using Templates in Practice

Templates can be:

  • Sent manually from a card (Select Template → Send)
  • Used in automatic processes, like campaigns and workflows
  • Applied to save time, reduce errors, and maintain branding/style

Sharing Templates

  • Templates can be shared across your workspace
  • If public, all users can access them
  • You can restrict certain templates for private or department-only use
